Project Description

Mission & Vision

Mission Statement:
To provide healthy and all-inclusive, restorative practices that will engage shareholders in understanding and utilizing Restorative Justice as a way of life.

Vision Statement:
To sustain a safe, valiant, non-judgmental space for shareholders to assemble where accountability, building social capital, and creating a community of safety thrives.

What Is This?

Restorative Justice is not simply a way of reforming the criminal justice system, it is a way of transforming the entire legal system, our family lives, our conduct in the workplace, and our practice of politics. Its vision is of holistic change in the way we do justice in the world (Braithwaite, 2003). Restorative Justice is a way of life that reshapes our lives to hold one another accountable, build social capital, and community safety. We no longer thrive from punitive measures that tend to alienate and ostracize people for the harm they may have caused (Jones, 2017).

Goal of Restorative Justice

Safe spaces are a necessity where shareholders can be their authentic self. Restorative Justice and Restorative Practices provide ample opportunities for sharing personal journeys that promote understanding, respect, maturity, sense of belonging without being punitive or judgement. Our communities need resourceful spaces to thrive and rejuvenate – spaces to heal and release the burdens that tend to prevent growth.
