The Cook County Southland Juvenile Justice Council’s mission is to reduce juvenile delinquency within South Suburban Cook County. Our approach to diversity & inclusion are holistic and restorative. The development of a Cook County Southland Juvenile Justice Council (SJJC) provides local government with the vision, guidance and support they need to collectively address the violence and juvenile delinquency problem from a local perspective, and comply with the Illinois Juvenile Court Act of 1987.
