Now for 28 years, Bethel Human Resources has met the needs of it's community with supportive housing and addiction recovery services. We endeavor to expand the vision of Pastor Harold Arrington of seeing 1000 men who have hit rock bottom , recover and return home as positive members of their community and society. We have now expanded our vision to include women and their children.
A major emphasis at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle is reaching out to the local community, with a heart and a mission for the poor, black men, and youth. This vision has grown from the guidance of Founder Harold Arrington and lives on in the stewardship of his son Pastor John Arrington.

Bloom Township's Youth and Family Services Department is dedicated to empowering its youth and families to lead positive healthy lives
In Chicago’s East Garfield Park, where disinvestment has left the neighborhood devoid of opportunity and full of broken dreams, Breakthrough is restoring the broken networks of youth and families and empowering adults in the community to achieve self-sufficiency and break the cycle of poverty.
Bremen Youth Services (BYS) is a not-for-profit community mental health agency which has served youth and their families since 1964. Services are available to individuals ages 5-21 and their families. Although the agency serves Bremen Township residents, we are not bound by township lines and welcome anyone in need of services.
We're a group of believers saved from our sins through the blood of Jesus Christ in obeying the gospel (Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 5:9, 1 Peter 1:18 & 19). Individually, we call ourselves simply “Christians” because that is the name Jesus’ disciples wore (Acts 11:26) and that is the name whereby we can glorify God (1 Peter 4:16).
The Greater Chicago Food Depository is Chicago’s food bank. We provide food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community.
We do this in partnership with 700 agencies and programs including pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and responses for children, older adults and veterans. This network distributes food where it is needed most throughout Cook County.
Women’s issues, depression, anxiety, adult children of alcoholics, grief and loss issues, addiction issues, adults with unresolved childhood issues (abuse, neglect, abandonment), partner/marital relationship issues.
