Transformative Mentoring, Remarkable Results.

OBC Mentoring helped my son totally change his behavior at school and at home. I don’t know what is going on there but please KEEP DOING IT! Tuesday and Thursdays are the only days in my house that I don’t have to make my son go somewhere.

Families value workshop growth.

Pivotal partnership for attendance success.

Tackling truancy and absenteeism is no easy feat. Attendance teams are successful when they involve the right people and maintain a clear sense of purpose and responsibility. Having SJJC as a resource has been pivotal in our program’s successes and accomplishments. SJJC has provided unlimited support, and resources to our attendance teams. Empowering young ladies' futures.

When Girls Get Together has made a huge impact on my preteen. I feel this program has helped build my daughter’s confidence tremendously. Ms. Carla and the team go out of their way to invest in these young lady’s future, empowering them to reach their full potential. My daughter absolutely love this program and so do I. There’s always activities for the girls to do whether it’s something fun or they’re learning a life-long skill. I’m so happy my daughter is part of such a positive program and I’m excited to see what lies ahead!

My daughter came home from CAST camp and showed me her art project. She then told me she was selected to lead a project the next week. You just don’t know what that did for my daughter. She has really been depressed and now I see something different.

Exceptional partnership, transformative impact.

There are any number of organizations who over promise and under deliver, but that is certainly not this group of outstanding women. In our first year of partnership, we have been immensely rewarded in this partnership. Girls who barely spoke before have come out of their shell and look forward to meeting with this group of dynamic ladies. The program offers a variety of opportunities for our young ladies. Beyond the support of our young ladies, they have supported the administrative team and culture of the building by partnering in endeavors such as financial literacy of parents and self-care. As it becomes harder to navigate society, a partnership with When Girls Get Together is well worth it! At Thornton Fractional Center for Academics and Technology we tell our students, “Make good choices”, with this partnership, we have “Made an excellent choice!

I have always wanted to go to therapy. I’ve always wanted to unpack some of the things that has happened in my life to see how it affects my every day. Juton was referred to me by a dear friend and she has been absolutely perfect for me. You have to find your match if therapy is going to work. Juton is able to meet me where I am and offer me different approaches to tackling life’s challenges. She pushes me to make the hard decisions in life that will better my situation.
