What Is This?

The program utilizes the Voices curriculum which is evidenced based and has proven its efficacy. Restorative Justice is incorporated through the format of Peace Circles. Thus, this curriculum is used as a guide to facilitate a deeper understanding of the emotional issues confronting the girls, as well as, developing within them a platform for sustainable improvement throughout each session. Currently, we partner with the Cook County Southland Juvenile Justice Council (SJJC) and with that partnership we can provide a stipend and transportation for the girls! The girls are Health Ambassadors, each week a portion of the group focuses on health and wellness!
